Our theme this fall: LIGHT + DARK!
- Spark Explorers (3-4 years old + 1 loving adult): 1 hour-long workshop/week on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday morning
- Spark Creators (5-8 years old, drop off): 1 hour-long workshop/week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays after school
- Spark Makers (8-12 years old, drop off): one 2 hours-long workshop/week on Wednesdays after school or Saturdays in the early afternoon
The cost is $23/child per hour in the studio. Reduced pricing and alternative payment plans are available.
Our 13-week fall session will run from mid-September to mid-December. Please note:
- The studio will be open Wednesday, September 30, the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, and proceeds from our workshop that day will be donated to Kanatahkwèn:ke, the Kanawà:ke Museum and Centre for Language, Culture, and the Arts
- The studio will be open on Monday, October 12
We'll build black & white collages inspired by the Japanese concept of nōtan, create a tint & shade mural together, and return to an Atelier Spark classic – the luminary drawing/painting!
*Please note that although I've organized our workshops by age, you know your child best. If you think they might do their best in another cohort, please get in touch with me so we can discuss it.
